Sorry for the late update. My wife had a tooth extracted today and I was up late last night sitting at her work place to make sure nobody robbed her. I just now finished. She works at a gas station and with the kids off at grandparents houses for the big day today, I was able to watch over her. Its something one of us in our family has done whenever she closes since the place got robbed a few weeks back. No one was there, but we don't want to take any chances. So here you go 24 hours late but better late than never.

Heh sorry again if you were still getting anything weird from the site. I missed abit of code when I removed the offending Tag board. Anyway it's really gone now. I think... Anyway I am working on a site redesign. This site is an amalgamation of different techniques and programs. I have reclaimed FrontPage 2003 and am slowly working on a more streamlined site. I hope to make it even prettier and stuff. On to other news Welcome Joe from Sacramento! Congrats man you are the first person I've not met to join the frappr map! Phil and Kev you don't count cuz I met you online before. Phil is going to have something to say about that... *grabs aspirin* And of course Benmofo my life long buddy. Thanks a bunch guys!

Five years, I can remember, you can remember, we all remember. Now I'm the kind of person that would say something or make a small tribute comic, but our greatest tragedy has been commercialized beyond recognition. So here is something to brighten your otherwise dark day. Oh it is entirely coincidental that this comic has to do with planes. This was a news story about a month or so ago. A piece of the wheel door fell off a plane and totally pwned this woman's bathroom so I made fun of it.

New forum! The powers that be have given me a Forum! I know, it's not the tag board but hey it works. I may again revive the slain beast once tag world gets their glass stomachs polished. Meanwhile... I got a Domain! Whoo Hoo! That may be why you couldn't get to the site from Wednesday - Saturday. It's called Domain Propagation and it takes 48 hrs. Nothing could be done. But hey now we have a spiffy new URL www.back2roxboro.com! Also a few additions to the site, I finally finished the main banner and made some clerical errors go away. I'm getting ready to pitch the comic on the CG forums.

Hello gang! The Tag board has died a horrible death! They are doing some kind of renovation at Tag World and it is now defunct. Their Sql is totally forked so I took it down. I have a couple of additions to the wiki including a new character and finally a Chibi Melissa I'll be adding the Melissa info to the Character page shortly. I'm still keeping with the current story line sorry if these are getting weird but things just kinda work differently in my head. I'll probably switch things up as #20 approaches so keep reading.

OK so I blew it... I missed my first update. But balancing two jobs, a wife and two kids, finding some time to sleep and walk to lose weight, and do a comic, it was bound to happen eventually. I plan to keep doing this for a long time to come. so I hope this hasn't made anybody stray from the path. There will always be bumps in the road. Any way back to regular on Monday. Thursday's strip will post on Monday and we'll be back to normal until the next obstacle. I hope you enjoy this one while not super funny, it is something that actually happened. Lots of extra artwork in this one, too. That was part of the problem working with profiles again is difficult since I have little experience with them. See ya soon.
PS A special thanks to Karen Campbell from TN for buying a Welcome To Roxboro shirt! Maybe it's a little late
since she bought it in April but I just found out. I think its cool that even after 3 years of being dormant that someone out there likes it well enough to buy something from the store! And to think I almost took it down last month..

Sorry comic will be late today, I watched Final Destination 3 last night instead of working on it. It's about 95% so I should have it done on my lunch break 1:00 pm eastern. Sorry but you have to remember, out of 168 hours in a week, only 22 are free time for me. Right now each comic is taking about 6-7 hours to finish so you can see where that leaves me. No worries though, I love doing the comic. I feel better than I have in a long time now that I'm doing it again. Oh and how did I watch Final Destination 3 last night when it comes out next Tuesday? One of the very small number of perks from working at a video store is watching new movies the week before they come out :)

As you may have seen on the tag board my Gen chan got rejected. Oh well such is life. Back to some good news, The Character Page is up! I consider this a great thing since I never did one for Welcome to Roxboro. And I like the design of the characters too. Maybe I'll use them in a strip or two. Also I made my first store item. The Cast Shirt is available from Cafe Press. I'm going to put the image on a few more items but the link goes to the store so you'll be able to see al of them as they go up.

Woot Website goodness! I got a lot of stuff done this week using up some of my buffer. Menu bar for the main page is done... sort of . I'll be adding more images to it as I come up with them. Also I added an RSS feed so you can go straight to the latest comic whenever you want :) And last but not least I added a personal touch to the site ala the icon in the address bar. I have also started on the concept for the character page and hand drawn some ideas, very roughly I might add. It'll be cool but it will take some time. Other than that everything's going smoothly. I rise and fall daily according to the webcomic list so check them out to see some other good comics and be sure to come back here through them to show the you read me.

Hey guys just got all the pages formatted the same again. I was changing the main without changing others and things were starting to look funny. Now everything's back to looking good. Eventually I'll get a proper menu bar drawn, but for now the text links stay. Oh and a characters page will be coming soon... though how soon I don't know.

Tag board frenzy!! If you don't know this involves the webcomic battle from Monday between me and Tom. It was damn close! I got an eleventh hour vote ' literally' to beat out Elvenbaath! So the long and short of it is that I was mean and I apologized for it and well you can read the rest. Also I decided that the list was too long and had too many big names on it so off they went! They get enough publicity as it is so now we're down to four. This one's for you Tom.

More resizing, images now 700 wide since most people now run at 1024x768... well I think they do anyway. I run 1280x1024 but I have a 21" monitor, not bragging just stating facts :) Its old as dirt, got it at a warehouse sale for $75. Also I missed Bethany's neck shadow so I fixed it too. I created a Gen-chan! Hopefully it will get approved, but you can see her now on the stuff page.

Hey a few minor changes: First sorry about the wrong text in the last frame of #2 I uploaded the wrong image. This was a crossover strip from Welcome To Roxboro and I loaded he same image on both comics. Doh! Hey it happens. Second I increased the image size a bit to tune out some fuzziness. So here we are again folks. Welcome Back to Roxboro! I figure I ought to give a little spiel about what’s changed and the direction that the new comic is hoping to take. So everybody has read Welcome to Roxboro right? … No? … Well go on we’ll wait… Ok now that that’s settled, Welcome Back to Roxboro is well sort of a sequel to Welcome to Roxboro in a sense that Bond movies are sequels: The same main character even if he looks a little different for one reason or another and a different leading lady with some familiar characters and new ones mixed in. There got it? So here we are again at the beginning I have already set upon the task of mostly redesigning everything taking very few elements from the original comic. But you know when you draw that perfect pair of eyes or set of teeth and you know there is no way to do it better? Well you’re damn right you use copy and paste. Aside from these occurrences everything has a fresh new look and while I haven’t quite gotten away from the standard three-quarter stance that prevailed in the last comic keep in mind that I now work two jobs and have two girls and a wonderful wife. So you can imagine that I haven’t a lot of free time. I can’t exactly work on things at either job for various reasons but hopefully when we get a new building at job 1 I’ll be able to get some more artwork done while there. I do however, have some metamorphic aspirations for this iteration of the comic. I have been using still poses of my wife and the kids to explore ways of making the comic more realistic and less static. The schedule for now will be twice a week Monday and Thursday so you can read us and Applegeeks on the same day if Hawk and Annath ever get back on regular schedules. I love their stuff. The links to the side are the web comics that I read and respect and to whom I owe the existence of Welcome to Roxboro and Welcome Back to Roxboro. My very first webcomic was Real Life by Greg Dean and I have been picking up others since, by linking from the others that I read. I would say I wish gonorrhea of the nose on Piro but that’s just my jealousy of his success and talent speaking. Seriously though, I would like to kick him in the nuts every time he says his stuff isn’t good. Ok enough butt sniffing for one rant.
